How it Works

On a daily basis, songwriters struggle to get their work to the right ears. Those practices often lead to a dead-end road. Sending email, mailing hard-copies with your resume, a CD with your best songs to Radio Stations, Record Labels and a long etcetera.

Well, we have turned the process upside down. What if users could have all those music supervisors, A&R's, talent scouts and music needed enterprises in a single place? We have created a comprehensive system that allows them to find your work, review it, and request it in a couple clicks, but, if users feel attached to the old-fashioned way of proceeding, we have also created Song2mail for a faster and simpler emailing.

With Song2mail, users can send unlimited songs, with a single click, to any email.

The process:
Users upload their tracks to MyHITPlace. Prior to publication, songs must pass a moderation phase. A&R's decide if the song meets the minimum quality standards to be included in the general catalog and search results of the site.

After that, songs fall into 2 different statuses:

The song is "approved" and is available for the general public. If the song is remarkably engaging, then it becomes featured, and will get a lot more prominence within the site (is exposed on the homepage, first results on searches, become part of the radio, and we include it in specialized listings we pitch to a network of associated enterprises for immediate consideration).

The song is "hidden" from the public because it does not meet the quality standards or because the author desires to keep the songs away from the general audience and utilize the Song2mail for self promotion, in which case songs will only be seen by the author and those in possession of the right link to the generated Song2mail.
